 Marymount University Home > Hallmarks of a Marymount University Education Scholarship Leadership Service Ethics The University Catalog The academic requirements and regulations of Marymount University are published in this official university catalog and in other university announcements. This catalog was prepared with information available at the time of publication and is subject to change. The university reserves the right to terminate programs or change its program requirements, content and sequence of courses, and program offerings. The university also reserves the right to change without notice its fees and charges, course offerings, academic policies, calendars, regulations, and other provisions cited in this publication. The provost and vice president for Academic Affairs is the official representative of the university in matters pertaining to the scholastic life of the student body. Regulations made by the provost in addition to, in abrogation of, or in interpretation of the regulations stated herein have the same force as the regulations themselves. Further information and advice regarding academic regulations may be secured by inquiring in the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Office of the Registrar. The requirements to be met by a student are stated in the university catalog current at the time of the student’s initial matriculation or declaration of a major. Students are responsible for the information contained in the university catalog; they are to be acquainted with and assume responsibility for all requirements of their degree program. Failure to read and comply with university regulations will not exempt students from those regulations. In case of ambiguity, discrepancy, or disagreement, the regulations stated in this catalog and any subsequent modifications or interpretations by the provost and vice president for Academic Affairs will prevail. Students separating from the university completely for one year or more are bound by the catalog in effect when they are readmitted.
